Our Story
MediVox began with a shared belief: that no one should have to struggle to access the care they need simply because they don’t speak the language, can’t afford it, or don’t know where to turn. We wanted to build something that could cut through the confusion, the language barriers, and the isolation many people face when seeking care. MediVox is our way of giving people not just information, but a voice—and a way forward.
How We Started
Our journey began in Aurora, Colorado, at the DAWN Clinic, where Tvishi worked as a care coordinator. There, she saw how often patients came in with not just medical needs, but deeper struggles: housing insecurity, food access, mental health challenges. She saw how hard it was to connect them to the right support.
Inspired by these experiences, we set out to create a tool that could bridge clinical care with real-world help. Eshaan took the lead on building a mobile-friendly platform that was intuitive and accessible. Together, we began gathering community resources, translating them, and mapping them into an easy-to-use website.
With guidance from the Dalai Lama Fellows Program and the Renée Crown Wellness Institute, we are launching MediVox as a pilot in Aurora. Today, we’re partnering with clinics, nonprofits, and community centers to bring this resource to life—and expanding it to support more voices across Colorado and beyond.
OUR MISSION
MediVox exists to make healthcare and wellness resources accessible to everyone, regardless of language, income, or background. We connect individuals to free and low-cost services through an intuitive, multilingual platform designed specifically for underserved communities. By bridging gaps in outreach, digital literacy, and care navigation, we empower people to take control of their health and well-being.
We envision a future where access to healthcare is no longer a privilege, but a right. MediVox aims to become the go-to digital tool for health equity, starting in Aurora, Colorado and expanding nationwide. By uniting clinical care with social support services, we’re building an inclusive ecosystem where everyone has the tools to thrive.
